Incredible precision!

Here's a scanned close-up of the Ultra-fine Square Mesh with a Starrett 6" machinist's scale laying behind it for size reference. The minor graduations on the scale are 1/100th of an inch (0.010"). As you can see the mesh size is essentially the same as the minor graduations. In wire cloth (screen material), this translates into what would be called 100 mesh (100 wires per inch).
