![]() 2x3 mm Super-White LED
This LED has a durable ceramic housing which can be painted using acrylics. Solder pads are gold plated. The light emitting area is color corrected to minimize the "bluish tint" (see example) that is typical of most "white" LEDs.
Micro Super-White LED
BRIGHTNESS RIVALS T1 (3mm round) LEDs
Solder pads are gold plated. The light emitting area is color
corrected diffused epoxy to provide a very white light. Incredibly bright! Although
amazingly small, if additional concealment is required, this LED housing can
also be painted using acrylics.
Below you will find a wide assortment of state-of-the-art light
emitting diode (LED) products
including several varieties of the world's smallest chip
LED.
Associated with each product are a series of links (under More Info) that will lead you extensive details, usage tips, examples, and ideas for each. It is our hope this information will prove inspiring and show you something new in the modeling hobby with virtually endless possibilities.

2x3 mm Super-Incandescent LED
Nano
Super-White LED
NOW WITH PURE WHITE COLOR OUTPUT !
WORLDS SMALLEST LED !
This is truly, the world's smallest chip LED. Don't let its
tiny size fool you, this little fellow is amazingly bright. The white color
output can
easily be tinted to produce an incandescent (yellowish-white)
color. See the Tinting tips link above for details. Just like our other LEDs,
the housing can be painted as required, using acrylics. The solder pads are gold plated.
Z-Scale enthusiasts: At last! Here's a bright light source that is small enough to fit your applications. Check out the Compare size link above.
Manufactured to the same physical characteristics as its 2x3
Super-white brother above, this LED is the result of a lengthy development and
produces a color output identical to that of an incandescent (filament) light
source. Ideal for
applications where the appearance of incandescent light is desirable such as
locomotive headlights, non-commercial structure interior lighting, earlier era
passenger car lighting, etc. Our newest N1022C is
very high-intensity. Click
Specifications above for more info.
TRUE INCANDESCENT COLOR VERY HIGH BRIGHTNESS
"Why don't they have a lightbulb that only shines on things worth looking at?" - George Carlin We do... Your stuff!
Micro LEDs in colors
ONLY .062" X .031" VERY BRIGHT
Colors are true (red is not "orangish", green is pure, not
yellow-green, blue is very blue and extremely bright). Great for marker lights,
signals, traffic lights, flashing emergency lights on vehicles, airport
taxiways, let your
imagination go wild!
LED brightness levels can be reduced/matched by varying associated resistor values. Click here for details. Copyright © 2002-2008 Ngineering Last modified: June 20, 2008 Nano LEDs in colors plus NEW high-intensity Signal Green
Also the world's smallest, these tiny LEDs are very
pure in color. Perfect for the smallest details with a footprint of only 3 X 6
N-Scale inches! The possibilities are endless.
Our new Signal Green Nano is very bright with a spectral output that exactly matches traffic and railroad green block signals. Z-Scale enthusiasts: Now you can create traffic and block signals, emergency, hazard, EOT, and other lighting without being grossly over scale. These LEDs have a footprint of only 4-1/2 X 9 Z-Scale inches! Micro Super Yellow-white LED
UNIQUE COLOR & VERY BRIGHT
Identical in physical appearance to our Micro Super-white, this
LED produces a uniquely yellow-white very warm light and very high intensity.
Its distinctive color output is ideal for those lighting situations that call
for a flood or glow of warm light. Some examples would be steam-era locomotive
and passenger car lighting, non-commercial structure interior lighting,
early-era gas light and incandescent lighting, older streetlights. With very
light tinting, this LED can simulate the color of sodium-vapor (orangish
white) lighting found around today's commercial and industrial structures, parking areas and
streets.
